Will Ontario’s Revised EV Program Boost Tesla Sales?
ON recently lifted its price limit on cars qualified to get $14,000 electric vehicle discount. This decision would highly likely boost Tesla’s sales. The Canadian province used to only allow $3,000 rebate for EVs priced from $75,000-$150,000. As the government expanded the price cap, this means most Tesla Model S and Model X EVs are now covered as well. We’re looking at a savings of $6,000-$14,000. The benefit gets thrown out the window for cars amounting to over $150,000, making Tesla Model S P1000D excluded.
