Maverick Will Be the Name of Ford's 'Baby Bronco'

After waiting for 3+ years, the Ford Bronco is almost here. Word on the street is that we'll see the Blue Oval's Jeep Wrangler fighter at either the New York or Chicago car shows. Then sometime around the summer, we shall finally meet the 'baby Bronco.' At least, that's what it's called for now. Though, Ford Parts Guy from the Bronco6G forum, deems that its name will be Maverick, after looking up in a Ford database. It could just be a temporary name or placeholder for the final name, as what other forum members mentioned. In December 2016, Maverick was apparently 1 of the names Ford applied to trademark for the rugged ride. The American automaker used the Maverick name earlier on the Escape sold in Europe from 2001-2005. They also reserved the names Scout and Bronco Scout, but decided to scratch the Bronco scout application.
