Volvo’s Main Company Buys a Flying Car Startup
Geely, Volvo’s parent company, has just recently bought Terrafugia, which is a promising flying car startup. And because of this new acquisition, flying a winged Volvo may not be too unimaginable! While many other automakers are busy delving into revolutionary hybrid cars, Terrafugia is perhaps the first ever to come up with an incredibly convincing prototype. Boasts of a more badass car compared to its rivals, Terrafugia’s Transition offers a cruising range of 400 miles and a max speed of 100 mph. It’s also equipped with a parachute to safely land the car back onto the streets plus a cutting-edge autonomous flight system to prevent its pilots from crashing.
