Volvo to Provide Hassle-free Car Subscription Service
Following Cadillac’s vehicle subscription program, Volvo is also going to launch the same service they call Care by Volvo. For a flat monthly fee, this subscription-based offer lets customers switch to a new Volvo every 2 years. And the fee already includes maintenance, insurance, registration and other miscellaneous costs. Some regions will also be providing concierge services like cleaning, fueling, dealer pickup, and package delivery to their car. The Swedish car company says this will make “owning” cars as simple as having a smart phone. Like what many phone users do, Care by Volvo subscribers will be able to upgrade to a new model every 2 years.
