Volkswagen to Create a Convertible Crossover

Carmakers seem to dig following trends. And so despite the fact that Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet’s sales were a flop, Land Rover is currently out with the Range Rover Evoque Convertible. Just quite recently, Volkswagen said they’re looking at building its very own convertible crossover coupe, inspired by the new T-Roc. Should be available in the first half of 2020. Since CUVs are all the rage these days, it just might sell better than the Buick Cascada. VW reveals they’re now focusing on SUVs and are all set to shell out $98 million to bring the T-Roc Cabriolet to market. No information regarding the price tag as of yet.
