Upcoming Sales Drop Bound to Follow Record Year

It's been widely celebrated this year that 2015 was a record-setter in auto sales. But how long can it hold out, asks Laurie Harbour, analyst? Apparently, not as long as many optimists would assume. Sales are expected to drop significantly in as few as three years, and is forecasted to continue to remain below the record levels seen recently. Why? It seems that many factors affecting automotive manufacturers are to blame - complexity of model changes and parts pushes companies to shift the work overseas and forces a change in how cars are personalized. As the technology (and requirements) moves forward for car companies, will they be able to keep up?
