Uconnect 5 by FCA is 5X Faster than its Older Version

Cars nowadays are quickly turning into a fabulous smartphone docking systems and infotainment delivery gadgets. This somewhat forces carmakers to keep investing in HMI (human-machine interface) systems, such as FCA's Uconnect. To make this happen, FCA has recently tapped gamers and HMI experts from Carnegie Melon University. This 2020, their hard work will materialize in the 5th generation Uconnect, which will come in 2 versions. The premium version, Uconnect 5 Plus, will apparently work 5x quicker than its predecessor. This will allow unparalleled levels of connection and personalization. Some of the best features to look forward to: It's over-the-air (OTA) upgradable. OTA isn't just exclusive to Tesla. Uconnect can now be updated remotely like the Plus version's TomTom-based navigation map database. Also, no more waiting time in vain for 2 devices, as Uconnect lets 2 devices to be connected using Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, wireless or wired. Uconnect 5 Plus can as well power up to 4 display screens in ultra-HD.
