This is Why You Should Take Recalls Seriously

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Honda recently confirmed 11th death because of defective Takata airbag. Latest victim was a 50-year-old woman from California who died from injuries sustained when her 2001 Civic’s airbag inflator ruptured in a crash. Honda initially issued a recall in 2008 plus some more notices to owners of 313,000 Honda/Acura vehicles built between 2001 and 2003. In June, NHTSA sent an urgent plea to affected owners to stop driving these cars with recalled inflators for severe risk they pose.
