Tesla Recall Alert for 50K+ Cars

Tesla announced last week that they’re recalling 53,000 cars worldwide because of a possible parking brake issue. This recall includes Model S and Model X cars made from February 2016 to October 2016. Apparently, the parking brake might fail to work, as a small gear there was incorrectly built by a 3rd party contractor. Fortunately, there were zero injury reports related to this flaw, nor of the parking brake failing to grip. Also, this scenario doesn’t affect whatsoever the vehicle’s regular brakes.
