Tesla on a 24/7 Model 3 Production to Reach Weekly Target

Tesla shall be on a round-the-clock production at their assembly factory in Fremont as they try to boost Model 3 yield to 6,000 units per week by the end of June, as per an internal company email. The EV company will also be adding extra shift to general assembly, body and paint to accommodate the demand. The news comes after Tesla briefly halted Model 3 production in what they say a planned suspension. This 2nd pause since February was intended to improve automation and efficiently manage bottlenecks to multiply output, which is a normal step by vehicle companies. Looks like Tesla will be stopping for 3-5 days to come up with a comprehensive set of upgrades.
