Tesla is undoubtedly more than just a car company, which is evident in their newest Manhattan showroom. They just recently unveiled this store that will offer cars, batteries and solar panels in NY’s Meatpacking District—everything under one roof. Up on display in their bare, glass-walled showroom are the Model S sedan and Model X crossover along with solar products and Powerwall storage systems. Of course, both energy and car sales staff are working together harmoniously in this store. Since Elon Musk bought SolcarCity last year, he’s been working to integrate his ventures, setting Tesla as not just a car company but also an energy company. This brand new NY store is certainly the tangible expression of that.
