Research Shows Electric Cars Emit Less CO2 vs. Diesels

Well, of course, EVs don’t yield any CO2 from the tailpipe. However, many people worry about the greenhouse gasses released while making the battery or producing the electricity required to run these electrified vehicles. But there’s a new research that hopefully would appease these worries, as it shows EVs still emit way less pollution in their lifespans compared to diesel-powered cars. The report was recently published by the Brussels-based green advocacy group, Transport & Environment. They even discovered that electric cars in countries with the highest greenhouse gas amount of electricity production contaminate less in their entire lives vs diesel vehicles.
