China’s car industry is increasingly growing with pretty impressive new and innovative products to boot. Unfortunately, not every Chinese automaker stick by the rules. Some deliberately make replica based on other brand’s designs and prototypes. And it looks like Land Rover is so over and done with dealing with these cons that they have quit showcasing concept vehicles to keep these shameless clones at bay. The LandWind X7, a Range Rover Evoque copycat is a concrete example of these Chinese clones. Protests were just dismissed and this rip-off was only a third of the Evoque’s selling price.
