Questionable Working Conditions Mean Bad Press for Automakers

Building a structure from the ground up is never guaranteed to be safe, but recent probes into construction and labor at automaker Tesla's plants are putting the company - and many others - in hot water. The questions began after a massive supplier, Eisenmann Corp., heard complaints from a Tesla plant in California that brought up concerns on the somewhat-unchecked practices of the steadily increasing plants and extensions in the United States, specifically in the South. Although other manufacturers deny that their locations violate any federal regulations, the company will begin investigating all of their supplier contracts until they can be sure.
