Porsche Launches New Plans for Short-Term Rentals

After introducing a subscription service called Porsche Passport last year, the automaker is now launching 2 new pilot programs: Porsche Drive and Porsche Host. The 1st one, which is only available in Atlanta, goes from simple hours behind the wheel to a full day or week. Porsche cars will be delivered concierge-like anytime and anyplace in Metro Atlanta. This can be ordered via online or phone, with Clutch Technologies behind customer and tech support. Porsche Host, on the other hand, is a team-up with car-sharing company Turo. Unlike Porsche Drive, Porsche Host is only offered on the West Coast. Porsche Host means there are special Porsche-accredited and skilled Turo hosts in LA and San Francisco. Hosts own the cars and these cars can be ordered via the Turo app or online for a day or longer.
