Police Dumping Sedans Over SUVs
Looks like regular consumers are not the only ones choosing big cars and SUVs. Police forces in North America are opting for SUVs instead of traditional sedans because they can carry more gears. While sedans are more popular in cities, SUVs are slowly becoming the new preference in suburban and rural areas. LAPD are particularly ordering a bigger percentage of SUV versus sedans. Report even says Ford sells a much greater number of SUVs than sedans to US police forces.
