Peugeot Will Be Coming to North America Soon

Peugeot has expedited its goals to set up in North America. Originally, they're looking at 2026 but as per their latest announcement, they could be arriving as early as in 3 years. Here are some insights from the French carmaker's US CEO, Larry Dominique. The vehicles shall be developed with global customers in thought. No wonder they're not homologating any existing car. They're potentially targeting millennial consumers. The automaker will only be available in few states: 15 American states and 4 Canadian provinces over its 1st 5 to 8 years, as they want to build the brand naturally—by being practical and without overinvesting. Cars won't be locally made for now. They'll be imported primarily from Europe. Peugeot will be employing executives sans car industry experience for crucial positions like digital customer experience director.
