Modern Tech in Newer Vehicles Puzzles Car Wash Companies
It’s awesome that today’s latest cars are equipped with some of the most advanced technologies. However, some of these high-tech cars have a little quirk: They can’t go through a car wash sesh minus encountering some issues in between. A report from the International Carwash Association reveals that around 38% of their 250 members have had trouble with cars furnished with forward-collision avoidance. Also, 39% say stop/start systems initiating during the wash cycle. To somehow rectify this, some car wash owners are now putting staff in vehicles to ride through the wash. Looks like this is not only an ineffective Band-Aid solution but also expensive.
