Mercedes Plans Shift to Electric Vehicles

With automaker Tesla gaining publicity (and subsidies) from their electric vehicles, automakers are trying to adjust with updates to their model lineup. The latest to plan for a huge shift is luxury manufacturer Mercedes, who plan on releasing multiple different options for consumers in the coming years, starting with a big reveal at the upcoming auto show in Paris. The push comes from the European Union, which looks to meet zero-emission regulations for the new models, while maintaining a high MPG.
