Mazda Aims to Be 100% Electric and Hybrid by 2030s
According to Kyodo News, Mazda wants every single vehicle of theirs to be electrified and hybrid by early 2030s to fulfill increasingly demanding global emission parameters. The Japanese car manufacturer is planning to utilize electric motors in all of its cars by that time. However, a Mazda representative refused to comment on the story. Right now, Mazda’s roster doesn’t have any all-battery electric vehicle. They have a hybrid option for their Mazda3, but it’s only offered in Japan. This goal is in conjunction with Mazda’s Sustainable Zoom-Zoom 2030 plan that specifies development of different eco-friendly powertrains.
