LG Electronics to Put Up an EV Parts Factory in Michigan
LG is looking at building a $25 million plant to make cutting-edge electric car components in Hazel Park, Michigan. The Korean electronics company will begin developing EV parts at this facility next year. This venture will provide around 292 new jobs in Michigan, specifically for factory workers and engineers. This is also backed up by a $2.9 million capital grant from the MI Economic Development Corp’s MI Business Development Program in the following 4 years. LG will as well be getting recruitment and training support from the state of MI.
