Honda Electric Cars Fully-Charged in 15 Minutes Come 2022

Nikkei Asian Review reports that Honda has a promising charging innovation looming on the horizon. This upcoming advancement will reduce charging time down to just 15 minutes beginning in 2022. Apparently, Honda will introduce several electric cars that year capable of adding roughly 150 miles of range in 15 minutes. To achieve this, the Japanese carmaker is going to provide brand new batteries powerful enough to take advantage of super quick chargers. Japan is looking at unveiling 350-kW chargers in 2020—up from the 150 kW that the country’s quickest chargers presently deliver. Honda will be collaborating with another company to manufacture new batteries, but is yet to pick a partner.
