Honda E Launches a New Color for Europe
2 years ago, Honda revealed the 2017 Honda Urban EV concept and the Sports EV concept. They were both received well. However, the Urban EV was clearly the crowd-favorite—mostly because of its quirky, retro vibe. During that time, Honda said they'd kick-off production soon. A slightly different version hit the market: a less retro looking one in the form of Honda E. Now, the Japanese carmaker is featuring the production type of this EV. Unfortunately for us in the States, we're not going to see this on American soil, as Honda has zero plan of bringing E to the USA. The E is being promoted for urban commuting. This cool tiny car can no doubt easily maneuver down narrow and crowded streets of Europe and offer a bit of delight for the driver when they venture out on the open road. The Honda E will be fitted with an electrified motor capable of up to 148 hp and 221 lb-ft of torque. A compact, low weight 35.5 kwh lithium-ion battery pack is energizing its motor. A production-ready Honda E will be launched later this year as part of Honda's aim to sell EVs in Europe by 2025.
