Gigafactory 1 by Tesla Set to Have the World’s Largest Rooftop Solar Array
Saying Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada is going to be enormous is a huge understatement. The giant battery factory is said to be capable of generating 70 megawatts. That’s roughly 7x bigger than any other solar rooftop installation in the world. Also, Gigafactory 1 is so powerful and massive that it won’t use any fossil fuels. GF1 will be able to save extra energy using Tesla’s very own Powerpack batteries for future usage when the sun isn’t shining.
