Former VW CEO Allegedly Knew About the Emissions Fraud Earlier
Seems like ex-VW CEO Martin Winkerton was well aware of the diesel emissions scam earlier than he has admitted. Prosecutors first named him in 2015 but took back their word and said they were quick in naming him. But it appears they now have strong evidence that would verify the executive was deliberately involved in the conspiracy. Guess we’d have to wait until it’s been proven in court. Martin Winkerton is only 1/ 37 people the prosecutors are looking into.
