Ford to Manufacture New Low-Cost Car for 2022
As you know, Ford will soon phase out their sedans, which are also the most affordable car option. But fret not because it looks like something else will fill the gap sometime in 2022. But for now, car shoppers will have to settle with either Ford EcoSport (price starts at $21,090) or the new Ford Escape (around $25,200)--not really cheap. However, the American carmaker is cooking up an all-new, white space vehicle to be available come 2022. No information yet about the body style but it's most likely going to be some kind of crossover. Note that Ford said last year that they're aiming for 9 all-new nameplates in the next 5 years to have a total lineup # of 23 vehicles.
