Ford and Anhui Zotye Collab in the Horizon

Ford is getting ready to partner with China’s Anhui Zotye Automobile Co. to build fully-electric vehicles in China. The two carmakers just recently signed an agreement to start a 50-50 JV to manufacture, sell and service a new set of electric cars. The would-be EVs are going to be sold under a new local brand, which Ford will reveal later on with further details. Ford feels very optimistic about the EV industry in China and is anticipating about 6 million rise in cars yearly come 2025. And 4 million/year of that will be all-electric.
