Fear Drives Low Demand for Self-Driving Cars

With all of the time and money being spent on self-driving technology, it seems that companies are jumping the gun on the sales of autonomous cars. Consumers responded underwhelmingly when surveyed about potential future ownership of such vehicles, with many people doubting the effectiveness and consistency of computers and technology. Fearing potential system crashes, and the loss of driving autonomy, it seems that it will take longer than expected to get people (out from) behind the wheel on these vehicles.
