FCA Teaming Up with BMW, Intel and Mobileye on Self-Driving Car Project

BMW, Intel and Mobileye just recently announced that FCA is going to be collaborating with them to create a shareable and scalable system for self-driving vehicles. Sounds like what #AutonomousCarGoals would be like! This joint venture has been going on full-speed, with Intel buying Mobileye earlier this year just after Tesla and Mobileye split. Their ultimate plan is to come up with a new design or program that each company can utilize and adapt to whatever its requirements are. The main HQ for this project will be located in Germany. FCA employees are going to join the already established team of engineers from BMW, Intel & Mobileye. They’re envisioning this platform to materialize in 2021.
