Electrify America Closed Down Many of its EV Charging Stations

Long before even there are electric cars, VW-backed Electrify America has been working on creating charging stations for 150kW and 350kW-capable EVs. Unfortunately, they now would need to take down most of them as per Huber+Suhner's advice (their charging cable supplier). It looks like there's a safety issue involved with regard to using high-powered cables from the said supplier so they choose to shut down those affected charging sites until they're free from harm and can be operated safely. Apparently, there's a problem with the liquid-cooled cables but the company didn't further elaborate. Nonetheless, current EV owners won't be affected much, as production EVs that have faster charging-capability, such as the Audi E-Tron and Porsche's Taycan, aren't on the road yet, and others are unable to connect to such chargers.
