Daimler and BMW Cooperates for an Autonomous Driving Goal

Daimler and BMW have come to terms to collaborate on developing autonomous cars. They'd be sharing expenditures as this budding tech takes over the industry. The two carmakers already signed a memorandum of understanding to develop together the next-gen of self-driving tech. They're anticipating it to be available on the market sometime in the middle of the next decade. There would also be other collaborators like tech companies and other carmakers. BMW's Development exec, Klaus Froehlich, believes that joining the Daimler and BMW's expertise will improve their innovative power and accelerate technology. Both carmakers said their joint venture shall focus on levels 3 and 4 self-driving technologies, to include vehicles that still need steering wheels and drivers.
