Connectivity In Cars Plagued By Possible Cyber Hacking

With hundreds of millions of cars (and tens of billions of dollars) expected to surround the internet-integrated fleet of 2025, the world is continuing to become more connected. However, with all of the benefits that come with these technological advances, professionals as high up as the Department of Justice have serious safety concerns about the vulnerability of these features. The reality of cyber threats has already been proven, not only on personal and corporate computers, but even in trials done on current connected vehicles - so much so that it led to some Jeep recalls. It is the hope of professionals that auto manufacturers will become more aware of the risks, and plan accordingly.
