China Said YES to BMW!
BMW has just gotten a seal of approval from Chinese authorities to export cars built by its local partner BMW Brilliance. That means, we’re most likely going to see China-made BMWs for sale here in the US and in Europe. While many German carmakers have been steadily expanding their production in the Asian country, there’ve been zero export plans because of the country’s bad rap for safety and reliability—until recently. BMW now trusts that China-manufactured vehicles are comparable to the ones made in the US or Germany.
