California Brings Roadblocks for Driverless Cars

In the age of technology, the possibility of cars that drive themselves is becoming a reality - but one that will be slowed drastically in California under the state's DMV's suggested legislature. Although the public will be able to weigh in on the possible rules early next year, the department has already sent out some pretty heavy restrictions that will prevent completely empty cars and any models to be made without a backup steering wheel and brakes. For the companies investing in the future technology, some of which include Tesla and Google, the proposal could be a huge issue in the progress the industry has been making (although it won't mean you don't still need to keep fully stocked on your cheap auto dealership supplies).
