Buying Cars Online is More About Customer Experience than Tech

While technology lets customers buy cars online, not a lot of people are doing it. According to Dean Evans, Hyundai Motor America's chief marketing officer, although it would be synonymous to complex technology to complete that kind of transaction online, the customer experience shouldn't be as complicated. The carmaker introduced its Shopper Assurance online initiative in 2017. Apparently, it provides online tools meant to decrease the time it takes to purchase a car. This project also lets online customers check inventory, organize payments, start the trade-in process, request for credit and schedule a test drive. It's very much like transacting with a car dealership sales staff.
