Audi Aims 800K Electric Car and Hybrid Revenue in 2025

Audi recently reported that they’re looking to dish out roughly 800K battery-electric and hybrid vehicles come 2025, trying their best to catch up with EV giant Tesla and also rise from a vicious emissions-cheating disaster. The German car company’s image has been tainted by regulatory analysis verifying what part its engineers may have undergone in creating engine management system to trick modern emissions tests. Audi will come with over 20 EVs by 2025, with the aid of its parent Volkswagen’s new MEB modular platform and car underpinnings built together with Porsche. The carmaker failed to give information as to the # of fully battery electric vs. # of hybrid vehicles they will distribute come 2025. In 2017, they sold more or less 16K semi-electric cars, and they still have no fully-electric model in its lineup.
