Alabama Students Gets a Car from Boss After Walking 20 Miles to Work
Everyone wants to make a great first impression on their first day of work. But nothing can beat this Walter Carr's perseverance and dedication. Apparently, his car broke down the day before he's to begin his new job at a moving company. Plus, he couldn't find anyone who could drive him to work. But that predicament didn't dampen the 20-year-old's spirit a tiny bit. He then began planning on how he could get to work. He looked at maps and calculated that it would take him about 7 hours to make it on time. He slept early in the evening so he could begin walking trip in the wee hours. When a cop found him and learned about his story, he bought him breakfast and dropped him off a few miles closer to work. His boss was mega impressed about the young man's persistence and commitment that he gifted him his very own 2014 Ford Escape SUV.
