1st Full Electric Vehicle from Volvo Will be a Hatchback
Autocar’s report says Volvo is going to base its first ever full EV from their hatchback model Concept 40.2, which will be launched in 2019. This Volvo electric car is said to be based from the brand’s Compact Modular Architecture (CMA) system and will also utilize the 40-series nomenclature. Research and Development exec Henrik Green said that this EV will be capable of around 310 miles target range. He also mentioned that they’re trying to upgrade the requirement monthly, as the technology is rapidly ever-changing. The Swedish car company will also provide modular batteries with various ranges plus various electric motors to give potential clients many varieties at different price points.
